As a company, we work very, very hard on our products to ensure high quality, and that they are what we say they are -- who it’s for (or not), what it is, and what it isn’t. We also are a small but mighty (and growing) team, and we truly stand by the work we do. With all those things in mind, we don’t currently offer any refunds. If you’d like to sample the teachings we offer (I know it can feel risky to invest in a course!), check out our YouTube channel or podcast -- if you like the way we teach, the quality is the same inside the courses! Inside the courses are just even more in-depth, and practical, and have a lot more cheat sheets, downloads, and opportunities to ask questions and be supported.
-
We offer payment plans for some of our courses. Please review the payment information on each course’s page for information.
-
Yes, you will receive a receipt from our payment portal. If it's not in your inbox, please check your spam/junk folder. If however, you did not receive it, please contact us at support@realworldnp.com.

Certain courses will be available in their entirety immediately while others are dripped out on schedule.
If the course is a “drip course” that means it will release modules as they are available.
Make sure you have marked all your lessons as "complete" - it helps unlock the next module when it becomes available.

The Quick Text Library: Volume 1 is a collection of editable, standardized charting templates for common chief complaints in primary care (such as abdominal pain, headache, and dizziness). Each entry includes a structured HPI, ROS, PE, Assessment, and Plan section designed to save time while maintaining high-quality, CMS-compliant documentation.
-
The Quick Text Library is a copy-and-paste reference tool. You’ll copy the sections you want to use and manually add them to your own EHR’s quick text, macro, or template feature. Each EHR has its own method for storing and using templates—so you’ll follow your organization’s guidelines for setup.
-
The templates are written in plain, universal text for readability and compatibility across systems. They do not include EHR-specific coding or “smart fields.” You can adapt the bracketed prompts (like [age] [gender description]) or add your own smart fields if your system uses them.
-
No problem. The templates are organized to make setup simple. Start with one or two complaints (for example, abdominal pain or headache), add them to your EHR using your preferred short codes, and build from there. The included Quick Start Guide walks you through this process step-by-step.
-
The Quick Text Library: Volume 1 is designed primarily for nurse practitioners in primary care, especially those in their first 1–3 years of practice (or if they’re transferring into primary care from a specialty), who want to save time, improve consistency, and strengthen their clinical reasoning while documenting.
While NP students are welcome to use it as a teaching and reference tool, it is not designed to teach documentation or clinical decision-making from the ground up. Instead, it helps bridge the gap between what’s learned in school and what’s required in real-world practice—offering prompts, structure, and examples to reinforce learning once you’re seeing patients independently.
-
No. For privacy and compliance, do not paste real patient information into the shared or saved Quick Text Library files. Always enter patient details only in your secure EHR environment.
-
Yes. The templates are fully editable and designed to be customized for your documentation style, clinic structure, and EHR requirements.
-
Item dNot yet. Once Real World NP is officially accredited by the ANCC (anticipated January 2026), the Quick Text Library will include an optional CE component—a short video lesson, guided questions, and a reflection activity—to help you apply the documentation concepts in practice.
If you purchase before accreditation is finalized, you’ll have immediate access to the full Quick Text Library now and will be invited to complete the CE portion once it becomes available, at no additional cost.
-
You’ll have access for one year from your purchase date.
